At HALO Consulting Solutions, our mission is to help nonprofit organizations stop chasing grants and start pursuing the right funding opportunities through funder-vetted grant strategy and project-managed proposal development that saves leadership dozens of hours.
Step 1: Strategy Session
This is a focused, working session designed to understand your organization and assess funding fit.
During this session, we:
- Walk through your organization’s story, programs, and goals
- Discuss past funding efforts and current capacity
- Assess readiness and competitiveness
- Identify where funding realistically fits
This is not a sales call.
It’s a structured conversation designed to create clarity.
Step 2: Strategic Grant Funding Plan
Following the strategy session, I develop a tailored strategic grant funding plan for your organization.
This plan:
- Identifies the types of funding most aligned with your organization (local, city, state, federal, private, etc.)
- Prioritizes specific funding opportunities based on competitiveness and timing
- Clarifies what to pursue now, what to sequence later, and what to deprioritize
- Aligns funding opportunities with your programs, capacity, and goals
The result is a clear, actionable roadmap that replaces reactive grant chasing with intentional decision-making.
Step 3: Decision Point — Implementation or DIY
Once the strategic grant funding plan is complete, you decide how to move forward.
Organizations can:
- Continue working with me to implement the strategy through project-managed grant development, or
- Use the strategic plan internally and pursue funding independently
There is no obligation to continue beyond the strategy phase. Some organizations value hands-on support. Others value clarity and autonomy.
Both are valid outcomes.
